I wouldn't be surprised f you had read the title and had gone all WTF. Srsly. That was how I reacted when I first heard the term.
Six-Sing - Six students who will be going to Singapore on January to participate in the Hwa Chong Institution- PSHS exchange program. A.K.A. Neon Antonio, Gian Dapul, Mika Perlada, Nico Reyes, Juan Senga and Tutti Tanchuling.
Get it, get it? :> :> :> Don't blame me. It was Ma'am Bawagan who coined the term. I'm just being
a bitch obedient.
Moving on...
We, Six-Sing, had a mini field trip today. We familiarized ourselves with the places where we are to bring the Singaporeans when they arrive on November. Our first stop was Bantayog ng mga Bayani. The exhibits were pretty cool, actually. I was really interested to learn more about Martial Law. Oh, and Ma'am Bawagan shared a big secret of hers. Super shocking. O: After that, we went to the Jorge Vargas museum in UP that housed a few of Amorsolo's works. An interesting part of the exhibit was the origami section, which contained a step by step guide on how to make paper cranes. Nico fail. :| 'Nuff said. UGH.
We dropped by McDo after, then went back to Pisay. Because Renz had to take so long, I decided to try something I've never done before....commute home--alone. :O It took me two jeepney rides, one tricycle ride, lots of walking and 26 pesos to reach my house. I was so proud of myself. I even took pictures, despite the possibility of getting mugged. Feeling ko kasi walang maniniwala eh. =))
I felt so accomplished as I rang the dorbell. So. Yeah. Be proud of me.
