My world is turns upside-down whenever I hear the phrase "bio long test." I'd much rather take a math, physics or chem LTs. Srsly. I've just never really taken an interest in biology because I find it ridiculously boring. I have an immune system and it protects my body from pathogens, dammit. Do I need to learn about freaking mast cells, perforins, MHC's and lymphocytes for my immune system to work? I find it very ironic and quite sad that
I'm putting my immune system on the line by studying all night and not sleeping just to learn about it. Being the type of person who can only do things with motivation and genuine interest, I STRUGGLE everytime I have to read Campbell. My tiny human brain can't take that much text and diagrams in one night. I also feel that Bio would be less painful and more tolerable if the teacher made it so-- I think that despite my utter dislike for the subject, I can live with it if I like the person teaching it. But the thing is, I don't. I know that's very unscholarly, but that's just the way it is. I haven't listened in class for about a month now, and my scores show that clearly. It pains me that I know I'm not doing my best, but it hurts more that I may never be motivated enough to do my best.
I'm about to hyperventilate. OH NO!!!! I'M GOING TO MAXIMIZE THE EXPOSURE OF MY RESPIRATORY SURFACE TO THE RESPIRATORY MEDIUM. :o
Campbell, here I come. /wrist
